Matthew Kaulikepono Derouin

As a member of Ulupono’s Investments & Analytics team, Matthew assists in conducting quantitative analysis across all sectors for various investments or projects Ulupono is considering. His duties include assessing financial models, pro-forma financial statements, and more.
Prior to joining Ulupono, Matthew worked as a senior auditor for the Hawai‘i Regional Council of Carpenters, Operating Engineers Local 3, and Roofers Union Local 221. His main objective was to ensure that union members were receiving their entitled fringe benefits from their employers.
Matthew is a Kamehameha Schools graduate and earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Finance from the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa.

Matthew enjoys being in or around the ocean, including surfing, paddling and swimming.
